Catharine Johnston, Senior Consultant, Organizational Effectiveness Through eLearning
More and more of our clients see eLearning as a strategic asset that contributes to organizational effectiveness and development. This accords with our own approach to customized eLearning; it is less about “courses” and more about a range of online learning supports (including courses, knowledge repositories, embedded system supports, learning communities) that contribute to the broader objective of organizational effectiveness through people. Catharine’s role is to help our clients make the critical link between organizational effectiveness and eLearning.
Catharine has considerable senior management experience in organizational effectiveness. She most recently was Executive Vice President, Business Effectiveness for Intrawest Corporation, the Canadian resort operator. She was also Executive Vice President at Noranda, the mining and metals company and also helped lead organizational effectiveness at CP Rail. She has authored several studies on best practices in making organizations more effective.
