We helped several clients with their eLearning challenges. Here are some examples:


  

Western Financial Group is a leading financial services company based in Western Canada. They offer banking, insurance and investment services to more than 400,000 clients.

eLearn Campus is helping Western Financial Group select a versatile eLearning authoring tool and will also provide coaching on best practice approaches to the design and development of eLearning. 


eLearn Campus co-founders Michael Grant and Rick Nigol are part of a team led by Dr. Tom Carey (internationally-recognized expert in quality post-secondary education) that is helping the University of New Brunswick develop a comprehensive business plan for its online learning initiatives.

UNB is the oldest English-speaking university in Canada, has campuses in Fredericton and St. John, and offers 50 degree and certificate or diploma programs.


World Education is a Boston-based non-governmental organization. eLearn Campus is helping them re-develop two modules of their Preparing for Health Careers online course. This course is designed to help those presently working in entry-level positions in the health care field begin building the capacity for developing a career path to more skilled jobs in the field. It provides these workers with knowledge and skills and greater self-awareness to help them make the transition to post-secondary education in the pursuit of career objectives. 


eLearn Campus is working with the Alzheimer Society of Toronto to develop a a series of multimedia teaching aids on CD that can be used by the Society as supplementary training materials in their in-person Personal Support Worker courses.


Lifelearn Inc. produces multimedia educational materials and digital information productivity tools for the veterinary profession, as well as custom interactive digital media solutions for animal health and life sciences corporations.  

eLearn Campus is developing a customized content management system for Lifelearn that will allow them to post their library of Flash-based educational programs online. Also, we are building them an online learning and eCommerce portal that will streamline the way they do business with their continuing education clients.


The Active Living Alliance for Canadians with a Disability

eLearn Campus is developing an online course for the Active Living Alliance for Canadians with a Disability to be directed at teachers, coaches and anyone involved in organizing physical activities. The purpose of the Moving to Inclusion course is to provide physical activity leaders with knowledge, tools and resources to be better able to include individuals with disabilities in a wide variety of physical activity programs.

This interactive online resource will be produced in both English and French, and be released later in 2008.


The Co-operators

The Co-operators, with assets exceeding $7 billion, is Canada's largest Canadian-owned,
mutli-product insurer. It also provides a wide range of wealth management products,
investment and real estate management services.

eLearn Campus is helping The Co-operators develop a company-wide eLearning strategy. 


ALS Society of Canada

eLearn Campus is working closely with the ALS Society of Canada (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis – Lou Gehrig’s Disease) on converting their ALS-411 resources for children and teens into engaging interactive online resources.

The goal of the project is to provide children and teens whom have parents with ALS with information, comfort, support and networks to help them cope positively with their new reality.

These multimedia resources will be produced in both English and French and will be launched in mid-2008.


 

Trecata Corporation

Trecata Corporation is a Toronto-based full-service technology solutions company. They specialize in designing and installing large-scale Oracle applications for key business processes for clients in the financial services, higher education, utilities and health care sectors.

eLearn Campus is assisting Trecata in creating embedded online training supports for some of these applications.



 

University of Toronto – School of Continuing Studies

eLearn Campus is working with the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto, helping them develop a strategic framework which will allow them to effectively grow their online educational offerings in the future.

The School of Continuing Studies serves approximately 10,000 adult learners annually, with a variety of program and course offerings in Business and Professional Studies, Arts and Science, ESL, and Languages and Translation.



Tyndale University College & Seminary

Tyndale University College & Seminary is Christian liberal arts higher education institution based in Toronto.

eLearn Campus is assisting Tyndale with the development of eLearning strategies, structures and processes, with the goal of expanding the depth and breadth of their online learning program.


Certified General Accountants' Association of Canada

eLearn Campus helped the Certified General Accountants’ Association of Canada (CGA-C) streamline its course production process. This work resulted in improvements to the production and updating of the CGA-C’s catalogue of online courses at the PD Net website www.cga-pdnet.org. A key part of the project was to deploy a new way for the association to engage subject matter expertise. The ultimate goal was to save considerable time and resources in course production, freeing resources for CGA-C to fulfill its professional development mandate.


 

Ontario March of Dimes

eLearn Campus is working with the Ontario March of Dimes, a well-established and respected support and advocacy agency for those with physical disabilities, to provide online health and safety training to its workers.

An interactive Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) course will be targeted to the more than a 1,000 workers across the province who supply various support services to people with physical disabilities. The focus of the course will be on the safe identification, use, disposal and clean up of various hazardous materials.


 

Ogilvy Renault

Ogilvy Renault is one of Canada’s oldest and most-respected law firms, with offices in Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto and London, England. 

We are developing online interactive multi-media training supports for some of the firm’s widely-used software applications.


Propane Gas Association of Canada

The Propane Training Institute is the training division of the Propane Gas Association of Canada, based in Calgary, Alberta. It serves thousands of learners across Canada annually by offering a wide array of professional development, skills training, and safety courses.

We are helping the Institute with its strategic planning process, which is focusing on how best to meet the training needs of its membership in the years to come. 


CanWest Interactive

CanWest Interactive

We have conducted a training audit for CanWest Interactive, a division of CanWest Global Communications, one of the largest integrated media companies in Canada. This involved a review and assessment of current training initiatives, and recommendations for new training processes and priorities to support organizational strategies that emphasized the potential contributions of eLearning.


Guelph Food Technology Centre

Guelph Food Technology Centre

The Guelph Food Technology Centre engaged eLearn Campus to run a multi-stakeholder process to determine its strategy as it explores moving some training and related services online.

We are now in the process of helping them develop eLearning versions of some of their most successful in-person courses.


SafeGuards Training for Children and Adult Services 

SafeGuards provides training for those working with vulnerable children, youths and adults in Ontario. We are developing an interactive learning portal for Safeguards, as well as an online training program for respite workers.


Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs

We are conducting a training needs assessment for the Nutrient Management Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. This assessment will be the basis of a distance learning strategy that we will prepare to help guide the Ministry on how best to meet the training needs of Ontario farmers and farm operators with respect to nutrient management issues.


  

Trent University 

We are assisting Julian Blackburn College with design and development of online courses.


 

Acadia University 

We are assisting the Continuing and Distance Education division with the design and development of online courses. 


HR Proactive and Vision-Design

We have formed a joint venture with HR Proactive (human resource consultants and providers of HR tools and related continuing education) and Vision Design (web development specialists) to create innovative eLearning programs in compliance training. The first modules deal with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training and were launched in late 2005.


University of Guelph

University of Guelph

We designed and developed a self-study eLearning training and support site for the University's new online financial reporting system. The purpose of the site is to engage hundreds of system users across the organization and bring them up-to-speed quickly and minimize the need for face-to-face training and support.

We are also designing and developing a financial compliance training site focused on the proper management of research grants.


University of St. Michael's College

University of St. Michael's College

We are helping St. Michael's, part of the University of Toronto, to move elements of its newly-approved Master of Arts in Catholic Leadership, its Certificate in Catholic Leadership, and its Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility, into an interactive online format and to engage learners in these programs.


Stornoway Productions  Breakout Educational Network

Stornoway Productions and Breakout Educational Network

Stornoway Productions is a documentary production company and Breakout Educational Network is a producer and distributor of educational materials. eLearn Campus has developed an educational web portal for these Toronto-based organizations that will help engage their audiences in learning beyond their documentaries and printed material.


Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia

Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (ICABC)

We have developed a career planning site, titled Career Connections, for the ICABC that allows its members to take an active role in guiding their own career paths and exploring career transition options. It is closely integrated with professional development opportunities, helping ICABC members to identify and bridge competency gaps and move into new roles.

We have also developed an Industry Toolkit for ICABC members working in industry, providing them with links to key resources and learning community support, and re-developed their professional development website.


United States Department of Education

United States Department of Education

eLearn Campus is part of a team that is helping the United States Department of Education improve the effectiveness of workplace education, particularly among small and medium enterprises by engaging people in these organizations. We have developed a site that helps U.S. companies link their workplace education investments to a balanced scorecard approach. This site, called ScorecardforSkills.com, was launched in 2003 and has been very positively received.

eLearn Campus was subsequently asked to develop a website that brings together many workplace learning policymakers and practitioners into a community of practice using many of our approaches to eLearning. The result is called Work-BasedLearning.org, and this was launched in December, 2003.
